PALETTE PAINTINGS
When I am making paintings, I often have unused, leftover oil paint on my palette. Instead of throwing away this “waste paint,” I apply it to 8” x 10” canvases. To me, these small palette paintings embody a relationship between randomness and beauty. The palette paintings are now for sale, either in gold-leaf frames (17½” x 19½”) or unframed (8” x 10”).
